Absolute clarity in digital brand expression
A digital identity distilled to its essence. No noise. No decoration. Just the work, the clothes, and the unshakeable confidence of a house that knows exactly what it is.

Under Hedi Slimane's direction, Celine's visual identity had been reduced to absolute essentials. The digital experience needed to match that rigour — no unnecessary elements, no decoration, no compromise. Every pixel either serves the brand or doesn't exist.
We designed by subtraction. Every element was added, then questioned, then usually removed. The typography system uses a single weight. The colour palette is two values. Animation is used only where stillness would create confusion. The result is a digital presence that feels as edited as a Celine collection.
The site became the internal benchmark for digital restraint. Page load times under 1.2 seconds. Every subsequent digital touchpoint is now evaluated against the standard this project set.
“Nothing unnecessary. That's the only brief that matters.”
